Wakeboarding
On the lake at the Hornberg you have the possibility to ride a System 2.0 from Sesitec and to improve your wakeboarding skills. The ride time is about 13 minutes per session. Rental gear (wakeboard, wetsuit, helmet and life jacket) can be rented on site. However you can also bring your own gear. An instructor will introduce you to wakeboarding and give you valuable tips to improve your skills.
Please be on site about 20 minutes before your session to have enough time for all the administration and the introduction and to start your session on time.

At our bar you get delicious warm and cold drinks as well as deilicious snacks. Our bar team is happy to serve you our choice of snacks made from local ingredients.
The opening hours depend on the weather situation. We are only open on days with nice weather. You can check the loacal weather on the webcams from Gstaad Saanenland Tourismus:

Side Activities
In order to shorten the waiting time until you can start your wake session, there is a variety of side activities. For example we have a slackline and balance boards on which you can improve you riding before starting your wake session.

By train until the railway station Schönried, via Horneggli chair lift (10 minutes), walking to the lake Hornberg (15 minutes).
From Schönried or Saanenmöser walking in about 1.5 hours or from Gstaad in 2 hours to the Hornbergesee.
From Saanenmöser railway station by car on the Hornbergstrasse in 15 minutes to the Hornbergesee.
